Mish Mash polishes are here!

These are polishes from the girls at Picture Polish that are a little slice of heaven! They are holographic multichromes with a little shot of glitter! I ordered 531 and 532 and I can hardly wait for 533 and 534. The formulas are very similar to the other ozotics. They go on very nicely. I will however let you know, these should be used over a very dark or black polish. The pictures I will share are of 532 over OPI Cuckoo for this color and the pictures of 531 are over Zoya Raven. 531 is also beautiful over a dark red like Illamasqua Scarab. OK lets get to the pictures!

This is 532, it contains a lot of teal and purple. The multichromatic effect in these
polishes is amazing, that is why I took so many pictures!

532 again, some gold and purple

A closer view of the gorgeous teal!

This is rainbow in a bottle!

Now we switch to 531, it has more gold, red, rust

Maybe a hint of green?

There is that sparkle but this is still 531!

Macro shot of 531

Here you see the red and gold

And finally the multichrome rainbow!
WHEW!
That  is a lot of gorgeous! Ozotic Mish Mash polishes come from
Picture Polish which can be seen here.
If you are interested I am happy to order them for you, just send me an e-mail for details.
Thanks for visiting!

Catrice Bohemia Collection

Well today I want to show you some gorgeous polishes from the Catrice Bohemia collection. I have three out of the four in the collection and I love all three! I received them in a swap from my generous friend Claudia and I couldn't wait to show them to you! Without further ado!

This first color is Be Indiglow! this was with flash. It has a great formula and all of
these are 2 coats with a topcoat of Seche Vite.

The second color I just LOVE! I am a huge fan of rusts and copper and browns.
This is the best of all of them and it's called Bring Me Terra-Copper!

The brush is great! I first used a brush like this on Dior polish. It is very thick
and flat  and while I didn't think I would like it, I actually LOVE IT!
It makes it easy to get nice coverage very quickly.

The last color I have is a gorgeous red and it is called Looking Sunkissed!
That name makes me think orange but this is a stunning bright red that everyone must own.

Well I hope you liked these pictures, Catrice has some amazing polishes if you
can get your hands on them. That is the problem, these are not available here in the US unless you have
some wonderful swap buddies or can find them on ebay or in a blog sale.
Make no mistake, if you can get your hands on them, they will be worth it!

Well I never!

I never thought there would come a day when I would be reviewing Clarins 230, affectionately known as Unicorn Pee. I splurged on a bottle on E-bay and let me tell you it was worth every penny! It is truly a rainbow in a bottle! Application is flawless and over a dark base polish you could probably get away with one coat, although I always feel more is better so I used two. I layered over Zoya Raven which is a gorgeous black. I was able to show a lot of color shift but to be honest, you really need to see this in person to get the full effect. There is a green/gold shift, and a red, orange, rust shift. It is just amazing! I wish I could tell you it was easy to find but it's not. It has been discontinued and is therefore worth its weight in gold! Now to the pics!

I thought this last picture showed the color shift the best. It goes from red to gold. This is an amazing polish to add to your collection. If you have the opportunity to own it, I say Go For It!

I am going to add another picture in here, I just received a studio in a box lighting kit and even though this was a quick pic and its a little blurry, it shows the green and gold shift in this polish very well.

See you next time!

Guest Post! Please welcome Tori B. to Packer Lacquer!

Hi friends!

As I promised we are starting our guest posts tonight and the first one will be by my niece Tori. She and her sister Madi are nail junkies like the rest of us! She and Madi both did a mani on me and then wrote their own post. I have to apologize, I didn't get the pictures taken the same day we did it so their may be a little tip wear. That is in no way a reflection on the job the girls did, it is the result of a crazy weekend on my part.
So, here's Tori!

My name is Tori and I like nails. My hobbies are photography and nails. I put blue and purple magnetic polish by LCN on my Aunt's nails. I also used the star magnet on them. I really like the magnetic polishes. They are fun to use. I hope you like my Aunt's nails.

Well I hope you like my first guest! Tori and I sure had a fun time doing this for you! These polishes are by LCN and they have two different magnet patterns available the star and the diagonal lines.

OMG, Who doesn't love a Gorgeous flakie?!

Today's post is going to showcase a beautiful topcoat flakie by Hits.. They are a company out of Brasil and I am fortunate enough to have some friends that are bigger nail polish junkies than I am(if you can believe that). We did a group order and I actually passed. But when these beauties came in and my enabling friend Rhonni showed us the video, I was hooked! They have glitters, holographics, flakies and some stamping polishes. The one I am going to show you today is Lambada. I think this is my favorite, it is multi-colored and vibrant! On a black basecoat it just pops! Ok on to the fun stuff, the pictures!

As you can see, Lambada has flakies of all colors. Blue, Green, Yellow, Red and maybe Orange. Application was effortless, the hard part was choosing the base color. I tried it with  a bright red and also a dark shimmery purple but it really looked the best with Zoya's Raven. So there you have it! Hits Lambada is almost worth the ticket to Brasil! Come fly with me!
